News & Announcements Annual Congregational Meeting. Our annual meeting will be Sunday, January 29, 2012 following worship. Join us as we give thanks for a great year of ministry in 2011 and look forward to a new year of Making Jesus Known! Ash Wednesday worship is February 22, 2012. All are welcome to begin the season of Lent by attending our Ash Wednesday worship at 7:30 p.m. The service includes Holy Communion. GRIP after-school program meets on Wednesdays after school from 3:15 to 5:30 p.m. Area youth in grades 1-6 are welcome to join us during the school year for snack, group prayer time, Bible stories, games and a variety of other activities. Elementary students may ride the bus to the church on Wednesdays. Please contact Cassy Brown for more information, 419-368-3132. Hillsdale CARES serves free community dinners on the third Thursday of each month at Trinity, 5-7 p.m. and the first Thursday of each month at the neighboring United Methodist Church. We welcome any who are struggling with the economy or who would enjoy fellowship during an evening meal. Come join us! The CARES bread ministry continues to need gallon size plastic bags that zip shut, paper grocery bags, sturdy cardboard boxes, and gift cards of any amount that can be given to needy families for food or gas. Any donations of non-perishable foods are also welcome and may be brought to any of the three village churches (please call if you have perishable items to donate). Hillsdale CARES is a collaborative effort of 11 area churches to serve our neighbors in need in the Hillsdale school district. CARES stands for Churches Actively Responding to Emergency Situations. CARES provides a bread ministry and help in emergency situations.
