Envelopes for Staff Gifts have been placed in the Red Welcome to Worship folders.

ATTN Thrivent Members: If you are a Thrivent financial member, Good News, your choice dollars can now be directed to St. Timothy’s. If you have any questions, please see Lisa Kreider.

We only need someone for (1) Sunday a month in the Nursery. Please see Pastor Steve or call the church office. Thank you for volunteering.

We were successful in our fundraising efforts for this year in obtaining a new seminarian. However, this is a continuous effort. Cash donations and pledges will be accepted “Vicar Fund” envelopes can be found in the welcome to worship folders at the end of each pew. If you are interested in helping with fundraising please see Lisa Kreider or Pastor Steve. We have collected $19460.39 as of 12/5/12 for the Vicar Fund!!!!!

WELCA is collecting brown plastic pill containers. These will be sent to Phoebe Hospital in Liberia, Africa. The collection container is on the table in the Narthex in front of the office window.

"STOCKINGS FOR THE HOMELESS"

One year ago, we sat with our soup and talked about doing a project in group. We threw out ideas, too many to mention. Then the idea of stockings for homeless was agreed with a motion. We cut and sewed them, and stuffed them to the brim with items all donated by you at St. Tim's. You gave soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes Galore, hand cream, razors, pencils, puzzles and more. We needed your help, and you really came through as only those at St. Timothy's would do. May your Christmas be filled with the same joy and Happiness as you've given to those who have so much less. God bless you and keep you in joy and good cheer. We might be asking for your help again next year.

Yosmar has made it possible for us to receive a Baby Grand Piano which was delivered to St. Tim's. We wish to extend our sincere THANK YOU to her.

A second offering for Lutheran Charities will be taken on December 16^th and 23^rd

Council scheduled the congregational meeting for February 10^th - One Service 9:15 AM. Prayerfully think about being on council.

Anyone interested in counting Sunday's Offering... This is the time of year to consider volunteering for next year schedule. A team consists of (2) people and it would be every 5 to 6 weeks. Please think and pray about it. Thank you to all who already volunteer!! If interested, please let Pastor Steve, Vicar Jen, Pat Webb or Fran Adams know. Thank you!!

SAVE THE BELLS!

For almost 20 years, the Bell Choir have been the musical center point of our Christmas Eve Services. When the lights dim and the candles lit, when the notes of "Silent Night" ring through the room, Christmas makes itself more present than ever, almost in a magical way. The Bell Choir have always helped us tune into the Christmas Spirit, but now our Bells need help. The Bells of St. Timothy's are in dreaded need of refurbishing, a very costly process, over $4,000, which St. Timothy's cannot afford at the moment. Years of use have taken its toll on our Bells and it is imperative, if we want to continue to enjoy their music, that we invest to restore them. For this purpose we beg you to join in the effort to collect the funds needed to save our Bells.
