There will be a Harvest of Gratitude sermon on November 22 as we celebrate the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. As part of the sermon I would like to invite you to bring in everyday items you are personally grateful for (ex. Soap, shampoo, food items, school supplies, or other items you feel blessed to have.) During worship we shall give thanks to god for our many blessings. All food items will go to our food pantry and other item will go to the Upper Darby Homeless Shelter.

The Aston Ministerium will be having its annual Community Thanksgiving Service on Sunday evening November 22 at 7:00pm at Our Lady of Angels Convent Chapel, 609 S. Convent Road, Aston. Our Choirs and choirs from other churches will sing, Come give thanks to God and worship with our Brothers and Sisters in Christ who live here in our community.

We are looking for someone who would be willing to donate an 8ft. Christmas tree to the church this holiday season. The tree needs to be brought to the church by December 1^st. If you are willing to donate the tree please let Pastor Steve know. Thank You!!!!

Our Annual Penny Party will be on Friday November 20^th at 6:30pm. Tickets are on sale NOW!!! Get your tickets in between services.

Thanksgiving and Christmas will soon be here and as is our tradition, we are looking to help 25 families in our community. Janice Turner needs some helpers for various jobs. Examples: Make up Thanksgiving Poster, Christmas Wish List, and a general assistant. If you can assist in any of these functions, please contact Janice or the church office. Janice can be reached at 610-696-8151 or 302-476-6454. If there are any families in the congregation that could use assistance, please let Janice know so they may be included.

Do you love working with children? We are currently looking for someone to run the nursery on Sunday mornings during the 9:45 worship service. If you are interested in helping, please see Pastor Steve or the church secretary. 

We are in need of several counting teams. If you are interested in counting the weekly offering after church, please contact Fran Adams or Bob Wesolowski. The teams will perform on a monthly rotation.

Laura O'Kane is looking for people to join the Bell Choir for this Christmas season. If you are interested, please let Laura, Pastor Steve or Vicar Brad know.

This year our Confirmation and high school Sunday School classes are in for a new, different, and exciting class! Vicar Brad will be taking over teaching the Sunday morning Confirmation class, and together with our high school students, will be taking a fresh look this year at all of the important ways that the Bible has real-world lessons to teach us each and every day! Join us for this fall for fun and discussion every week!

Welcome Children (and Adults Too!)

St. Timothy’s congregation welcomes children at worship.  For young children ages 2 to 8, “Kid’s Kits” are available on the desk in the narthex.  Please keep the crayons, supplies and reusable stickers and books in the folders so other children can use the kits. Children are welcome to use them during worship and to return them after.  As well, during the 8:30 and 11:00 services, adults are welcome to take their children to the library and use the toys in there for their children’s enjoyment.  During the 9:45 worship, you are welcome to observe or participate in our Sunday School classes in the social hall area of the church.  Sunday School is open to children ages 3 and older.
