A common question heard at any church is "How do I answer my children's questions about God?" This is a fundamental question we will try to answer on this page. We will describe how Bethlehem brings children into greater understanding with God. Because children are an exetremely important part of our mission here at Bethlehem. Our building was built with Christian Education as a core value.
Please check out our Parent Sunday School Handout. This will help parents better understand what our children will be learning.

Youth Sunday
|
One Sunday each month is set aside as “Youth Sunday”. The youth of BLC serve during the first service as
readers, ushers, and serving Communion. Recently a new addition was made, with Emily S. signing the Gospel. She will translate the Gospel into American Sign Language (ASL) one Sunday each month.

The youth continue to participate in worship at the first service. One Sunday each month the youth read the Lessons, serve as ushers, assist with Communion, and sign the Gospel in ASL.

Youth Gathering
Separate from the Inter-parish group, we at Bethlehem are engaging in a number of activities on our own. We are going to continue showing films at the church in the future. The youth meet each Sunday between services and all in grades 6-12 are invited to join us. Thanks to some generous folks we now have a functioning PC with video games, a TV/tape player and a game console in the youth room. Some of the youth have brought friends along from outside our church and we want to encourage everyone to do the same. We want the youth group to be open to everyone. Stop by and spend some time with the youth of Bethlehem! Any questions, call Tom or Laurie H.
