Spring Gatherings

Spring Gatherings are held in each conference every year.  The Nebraska Synodical Women’s Organization has seven conferences.

The conference coordinators determine the theme and select the verse at the spring NSWO Board Meeting where they also receive training for their new role as conference coordinator.  Conference coordinators serve on the NSWO Nominating Committee.

Spring Gatherings give participates the opportunity to hear keynote speakers, attend workshops, and attend Bible study.  The business of the Spring Gathering include hearing the NSWO President’s and Treasurer’s reports and electing their conference leaders (conference coordinator, planning committee members, and nominating committee members).

The 2005-2006 Conference Coordinators are:

+  Central – Alane Nelson, Osceola

+  High Plains – Karleen Gramberg, Chadron

+  Metro East – Nancy Johnson, Omaha

+  Midlands – Meri Jo Soe, Fremont

+  Northeast – Carole Nordby, Hartington

+  Southeast – Connie Wallman, Cortland

+  Southern Prairie – Shirley Koger, Hastings

Spring Gatherings theme for 2006 is “It is Well with My Soul.”  Verse, “Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, just as it is well with your soul,” 3 John 1:2 (NSRV).  Registration Forms will be available after the first of the year.
