OSLC Mission Project
In 2004 we became a part of a small, grass roots project led by a Colorado woman, Karen Johnson of Greely.
A book is shared by 10 boys Books for the young Sunday School Class FamilyGoat
She was raising money to personally go to Rwanda and buy goats for families and villages. We sent her a small amount raised during a six week period.
Since then we have received many letters, photos and a book for the children from Karen as we continue to support her small project.
In 2007 we sent money to purchase health cards as well as goats. Karen has now connected with a project from Columbia University
and we will help by raising and sending money for books to the Earth Institute's Millennium Villages Project in Mayange Rwanda.
The Sunday School children contribute their nickles, dimes quarters and more each week to personally try to make a difference in the lives of African children.
