"Aunt Babe" loved to entertain family and friends. Gary Griggs remembers
one occasion when she invited family members to her home for dinner, and his
dad, Vern, opened their freezer chest in the basement. One of the packages of
meat was marked "Fit for Company." Vern teased her about marking the
cheaper meats as "Fit for Company" and serving them to guests, while
saving the best cuts for her immediate family.
