Deacon Ichabod GRIGGS II and Sarah HATCH were married about 1740.⁷⁶ This may have been the father (or uncle) of Stephen Griggs, who married Sarah Chandler. Stephen was born about 1736; so Ichabod would have been about 18 at Stephen's birth.
