Harriet Maria "Hattie" GRIGGS and Lorenzo Calvin GRANDY were married on 15 Dec 1857.^188,189 Lorenzo Calvin GRANDY was born about 1833 in Vermont.^138,277 He appeared in the census in 1860 in Waitsfield Township, Washington County, VT.¹³⁸ He appeared in the census in 1880 in Lyndon, Caledonia County, VT.²⁷⁷ His household consisted of his wife and five children, as well as Frank "Brag," age 24, born in VT, "works in box shop;" and Hattie Densmore, age 20, born in VT, "house keeping." Lorenzo's occupation was "lumberman."

Frank Bragg was the oldest son of Anna Bixby Griggs Bragg, a sister of Lorenzo's wife, Harriet. The identification of Hattie Densmore is not known. He died on 8 Sep 1886.¹⁸⁸ Harriet Maria "Hattie" GRIGGS and Lorenzo Calvin GRANDY had the following children:
