Obituary Notes: "Mrs. William C. (Ruth Ann) Johnson, 38, died of (renal)
cancer, Aug. 19, 1980 at Tomah Memorial Hospital.
She was born September 27, 1941 in Waukegan, IL, to Harold and Amy (Rattunde)
Griggs. She married William C. Johnson on August 24, 1968 in Tomah.
In 1962, she graduated from the Methodist Kahler Nursing School in Rochester
and was a staff nurse at Tomah Memorial Hospital for 17 1/2 years.
Survivors include her husband; her daughter, Carolyn; her son, Craig; and her
mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Allen, of Tomah. Her father preceded
her in death.
Ruth Ann was buried at the Mount Vernon Cemetery, following services at the First
United Methodist Church. Rev. Arthur Paltridge officiated." She was buried
on 22 Aug 1980 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.176
