CHRIST displayed the highest form of love (Greek word --> Agape) that one has for another.Who else would willingly face the cross to pay for our sin? Ephesians 3:19 - and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Ephesians 5:2 - And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Romans 5: 6-11, 6 For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die 8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. 11 More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. |

| | STEWARDSHIP CORNER | | |
ROMANS 5:1-11 - Stewards are "reconciled people." This means that we have been rescused from God's judgement and condemnation through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. We who have been baptized into Christ have been baptized into His death in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life (Romans 6:4). That new life is what we call stewardship! _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ |
