WELCOME INTERN PASTOR JOHN SIMONSON, serving his internship at Edmonds Lutheran through August 2011. John's wife, Rachel, is serving as Intern Pastor at Trinity Lutheran in Lynnwood for the same period.ELC FALL PROGRAM BEGINS SEPTEMBER 12. See September Newsletter for the details: ***Sunday School program for children through grade 6, and for teens. ***ELC Music programs kicks off in September. Many exciting ways to get involved in the Music Ministry of Edmonds Lutheran. BACK TO SCHOOL BACK PACKS: We are gathering backpacks and school supplies for local kids and Lutheran World Relief. A collection basket is located in the Fellowship Hall. PASTOR DORCAS WANG, IS OUR MISSIONARY IN BEIJING, CHINA: In support of Pastor Dorcas Wang, and her mission work in Beijing, a special mission support offering is collected the 3rd Sunday of the each month. The Edmonds Lynnwood Parish LIVING WATERS PROJECT: A special LIVING WATERS OFFERING is collected the 1st Sunday of each month. Every dollar helps bring fresh water and food for those in need here and in 3rd world countries. DO YOU HAVE FRESH WATER TO DRINK FOOD TO EAT DAILY? Many through out the world do not. It is the purpose of the ingathering by the Edmonds-Lynnwood Parish Churches through LIVING WATERS, to provide fresh water and food to those in need. Through your generous monthly gifts, we provide funding for projects that build wells for communities in third world countries, and provide food for local food banks. |

 Annie's Community Kitchen is a time for food and fellowship in a friendly place.
|
FEEDING THE HUNGRY AND PROVIDING FELLOWSHIP FOR ALL and serving over 225 meals every Wednesday. Food items are also provided to many area food banks from Marysville to Seattle, and several other organizations that provide food for the hungry.Every Wednesday members of Edmonds Lutheran, friends from Trinity Lutheran, and the community gather to prepare and serve a FREE MEAL for seniors, families, and individuals in our community. It is a time for food and fellowship, in a friendly, warm, welcoming place, and our sign in the community that JESUS CHRIST is HERE. |
