Other Interests
Interest in a wide variety of music runs in the family. I probably most enjoy baroque and some twentieth century "serious" music, but marching band music (a result of four years in the Lynn Public Schools Senior Band) and contemporary folk music (probably a result of the years I was in college) are right up there. When forced to sing in a choir (which I used to enjoy), I can best handle second tenor or baritone. Although I have "fooled around with" guitar and piano, I am a decent amateur cornet (trumpet) player.
Before Paul was born, Gail and I used to go bird-watching, but we haven't really done it since then. However, we do enjoy walking/hiking, as well as travel.
