will hold its Annual Meeting:
November 8th, 2009 @
5:00 PM at Zion Lutheran Church in
Hurley.
This will be a great time for all members to attend this meeting and if
we have 6 members in attendance, Thrivent
will present a $100 bonus to members!
So,
we will see all of you there! **Attention
All Singers:
The Viborg
Community Choir will be meeting twice in November to prepare for our
participation at the Community
Thanksgiving Service! The service will be on Sunday, November 22nd
at Our Saviors Lutheran Church at
7:30 pm.
Two practice sessions are scheduled to be held at Our
Saviors Lutheran Church on Sunday,
November 8th and Sunday, November 15th, from 5:00 pm
until 7:00 pm. Everyone is invited and we hope to see you there! **Thank
offering Sunday will be Sunday, November 8. Potluck dinner will follow
worship. Doris DeVries will be handing out envelopes.
The money collected will be sent to the headquarters in Chicago. ** Thank
you!! A big
thanks for your generous donations given to WELCA for quilting supplies. We
have all our sheets, batting and tops ready to put together in January. Watch
for the dates and come join us---the coffee is always on!!! ** Thank
you to everyone who donated items for the Aids/Hospice kits. The response was
wonderful.
