Dear people and friends of St. Luke's!
Greetings to you all in the name of Christ our Lord, who has come and will come again to save and redeem us!
Who would have expected it, that the Almighty and Eternal Son of God, begotten before all worlds, should be found wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger? Who could have anticipated that lowly shepherds would be the ones to whom the angels first annnounced the holy birth? Is it not the foolishness of God, which is, as St. Paul said, "wiser than men, and the weakness of God, whis is stronger than men?"

In Christ, Elsa Peterman MacDonald's human journey has come to an end. She has gone home. Elsa was born to Emil and Dorothy (Maasz) Peterman, but was born again in the waters of Baptism, a child of God, a Christian.
Since we believe this truth we can rejoice in our sorrow for we know her life on earth had tremendous value, and we believe Elsa will rise with Jesus Christ.
We will miss you Elsa.
Worship Services:
• Sunday School is at 9:00a.m.
• Worship is at 10:00 a.m.
• Coffee Fellowship is at 11:00 a.m.
• Adult Sunday School 11:30 a.m. beginning September 30.
• Wednesday Study Group 11:00 a. m. beginning September 12
Our Sunday School is for ages 3 years and up. Confirmation class begins in grade 7.
