Spring 2013 Quilting Project |

Our Spring 2013 Quilting project was again funded by the Lake-Sumter Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. We will be meeting several times a month for quilting this spring. Quilters are asked to post on our FaceBook page when the quilters will meet.

Baptism of Damon C. Olesen |

Sunday July 15, 2012 Damon C. Olesen will be baptised. He is the son of Kristofer Olesen and Shauna J Litsey, and the grandson of Dona and Ken Olesen. His godparents will be Erik Olesen, and Alexandra Paige Litsey. |

New Storage Shed Completed |
Much better than our old shed. |
As soon as it was announced that the current storage shed was leaking, donations started pouring in. Sufficient funds were donated by free will offerings to pay for the new storage shed. We thank John R. for overseeing the project.Zion Lutheran Church is like a great family. When something is needed, all step up to meet the challenge with great success. | |

| Summer 2012 Activities |

We have two active projects this summer. We are using funds provided by Lake-Sumter County of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans to make quilts, and provide backpacks with school supplies.
We can always use your help. Come to church and ask Pat or Ruth what you can do. |
