Believe it or not! TEN OUT OF THE NINETEEN!That's over 50% of the pastors for whom we have documentation! They were pastors: J. Dejung Jr., Weyland, Ruege, Lemke, W. Koepsell, Bunde, Krause, Stellick, Kroll, and Ehlers.
Not only that, three of those pastors who didn't serve Crandon straight out of the Seminary, had three or less years of experience, when they took the call here. They were pastors: Schink (2 years), Waldschmidt (3 years), and Kingsbury (1 year).
Do you realize what that means?! It means that the aforementioned 13 pastors came into Crandon with a combined ministerial experience of just 6 years!
With the exception of Rev. Markus Koepsell, the men who came to Crandon with ten or more years of experience, gave less years to St. Paul than their 'wet behind the ears' brothers. (Those with 3 or less years gave an average of 4.5 years, while those with ten or more years [there were none in between; and again with the exception of Pastor M. Koespell] served an average of 3.1 years.)
