OUR SAVIOR from sin

From the moment of our births, we are twisted in some way. We do not love God and our neighbor like we should. This is what sin does - it twists around what is right. Divorce twists marriages apart; disease tears health away from us; death separates us from life. But our Savior, Jesus Christ, does not want us to be left in sin. Through his death he forgives sin and begins to untwist the terrible things our sins do.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9
