News about Dave:
David has been non-stop talking about 2 things. If you’ve talked to him recently, you probably already know what they are. One is the kiln design he’s working on and the other is the group paper for his public policy class on what’s wrong with the No Child Left Behind Act and what is the best way to fix it. Beyond that, life continues as usual.

News about Cindy:
IT”S FINALLY DONE! The 2005 July-December movie, that is. Cindy has been working to finish up that movie for the last 2 1/2 months. For the last few weeks, it has been consuming pretty much every spare minute she has. Now, with a feeling of confindence in her knowledge of the new programs she got last July and her ability to use them, she is moving on to her other 3 current projects, one of which a dvd which will be sold by Bracker’s Good Earth Clays!

News about Kelli:
Kelli is doing very well in school, Reading is by far her best subject, but she is not far behind that in Writing, Science and Social Studies. Math seems to be lagging behind a bit, but she’s improving. As many of you know, Kell irecently sold Girl Scout Cookies.....A LOT of Girl Scout cookies. She was the top seller in her troop with 275 boxes! That also earner her a scholarship toward Girl Scout camp, which she will attend this year. IF you haven’t already, be sure to check out some of her recent reports which are posted on her picture page.

News about Sophie:
Sophie is now fully potty-trained! She started about the second week of January and was having completely dry days within a couple of weeks. By Mid-February, she was having dry nights too, but continued to wear a diaper overnight, just to be sure. On February 26th, she wore her last nighttime diaper. Sophie will be 3 on April 15th. She continues to show amazing intellegence, especially in verbal skills. In addition to Spanish, she is now learning some sign language as well. She knows Cup, Table, Chair, Swing, and Tree. She still attends Day Care at Evelyn’s house. Although we were hopeful that she would be able to start preschool at Raintree Montessori once she was potty-trained, some laws or policies have changed such that she will have to be a full 3 years old before being admitted to the preschool room. Unfortnutately, because her brithday falls in the middle of a sememster, it is unlikely that there will be an opening right wehn she turns three. But there is good news (Don’t worry, it has nothing to do with Geico). On Wednesday, March 15th, we got the call from Raintree that she is in starting with the summer session! So June 1st, she’ll start Preschool. Yea!

News about Daphne:
WOW can this kid move! Daphne is now fully mobile! She took her first official step on January 3rd, and within a week was toddling all over the place. She really looks like a little girl now, and not so much a baby. She’s getting a lot taller and even her hair seemed to have grown an inch overnight! It’s now long enough that it actually gets messy! She’s really at a cute age right now. She just jabbers constantly. Her favorite game lately is a singing game: (Since one of her nicknames is “Tooters”, She started to try and say it and it came out “Too-tah” that expanded to “Too-too-too-tah” which we say back and forth with her. After a while, it took on the melody of Beethoven’s fifith.) It starts off with Dave or Cindy singing: “too too too taaaaaaahhhhh, too too too taaaaahhhh, too too too tah too too too tah too too too taaaaahhhhhh, too too too tah too too too tah too too too taaaaaahhhhhh. Too too too tah, too too too tah too too too tah --- tah----tah!” Then Daphne will respond “Too too too TAAAHHHHH!” with a big grin on her face. It’s truly adorable (and really difficult to describe in print).
