Missionary recovering from attack
(14 May 04) The LBT missionary in Nambia who was mugged by three assailants is now recovering in the home of fellow missionaries following surgery on his severely cut wrist.

Doctors were able to suture cut tendons in John Strasen’s right wrist and allowed him to leave the hospital wearing a splint cast while his injuries heal.

Strasen’s attackers also stole his passport, but it was found and turned in to the American Embassy.

Strasen is in the home of LBT Missionaries Shawn and Jill Boylan and is expected to fully recover.
