Good news from Erin's hospital room
(8 Jun 04) This letter comes from Erin Kinney, an MK hospitalized in Minnesota since last week. Hey! I'm doing really quite well. My fevers are pretty much away and my leg doesn't hurt as much. Around noon today I had a small operation to wash out the rest of the fluid that wasn't supposed to be there. Also the antibiotic that I'm currently on is pretty effective on the bacteria. So I don't have to change to a different medicine. I might get to go home tomorrow or Wed. depending on doctors and if I'm doing good. It will be good to get home. Thanks for praying for me. -Erin
Praise the Lord that Erin is doing so much better. Her fever has gone down, the heart murmur went away with the fever, no signs that the blood is carrying the infection to other parts, her leg has a drain tube to keep the fluid from building, the antibiotics are working, and she's looking and acting like her old self. She'll go home soon with a drain tube, IV antibiotics, and a home health nurse. She is so ready to have a normal leg again. And we trust that God will give her the desires of her heart. Thank you for lifting her to the Lord. Your prayers have been answered! Erin came home 2:30pm today. PTL
