Education Committee - 2002 Annual Report Committee Members: Susan Maham, Nicky Page We are continuing to offer Sunday School for children on Sunday mornings at 9am. Attendance has been light but whether we have 2 or 6, we're prepared for them. Pastor has been teaching an adult class during the Sunday School time. He has used various resources during this time. Last year during Lent we watched the Easter story from the movie "Jesus of Nazareth" and that was one of our best attended studies. We've also talked about current issues from the "Faith and Values" page in the Saturday paper. Currently we are studying the book of Mark since that will be our Gospel for this church year. We currently have 8 students in confirmation: Matt Carstens, Nick Everett, Brook Ferderer, Jacob Ferderer, Sam Ford, Miranda Lucht, Kyle Lundgren, and Hannah Peterson. Pastor has been using the computer program "Powerpoint" to teach the lessons. They are meeting every Wednesday except the first Wednesday which is 4-H night for many of the students.
