After going to test site page, numerous cities, each designated with a pyramid, will appear in the geographic area of your choice.
On SPEEDTEST.NET page, click the pyramid of the city you wish to test with. Test will run latency time Ping test in milliseconds first, followed by download and upload tests. You may test for Kilobits per second (kb/s), Kilobytes per second (kB/s), megabits per second (Mb/s), or megabytes per second (MB/s) selectable on My Results tab screen.
The results of your various tests are saved, displayed, and analyzed for your enlightenment.
If you open SpeedTest in a new window and close that window when finished, the "previous" page in our site will be functional. If you do not start a new window, use back arrow to return to Communications page.
