Why we do what we do...
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." How, then, can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent?... faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. (Romans 10:13-15, 17) "I was hungry and you gave me something to eat . . . I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me. . . whatever you did for the least of one of these brothers of mine, you did for me." (Matthew 25:35, 36,40)
