Weekly Announcements--March 6, 2011
Join us this Wednesday for our Ash Wednesday service at 7:00 pm. A meal of creamed turkey over biscuits will be served by the ELCA Youth Gathering Group starting at 5:30 pm.

Baldwin Christian School Kindergarten Round-up and All School Open House is on March 8th from 6:00-8:00 pm at the school. Peruse the classical curriculum, meet the teachers, and enroll your children.

Creamed chicken and biscuit dinner at Downing United Methodist Church on Thursday, March 17th from 4:00-6:30 pm. Free will offering.

5th grade communion class coming up in March on the 13th, 20th, and 27th during Sunday School time. This is for all 5th graders and their parents about Holy Communion. Materials will be provided.

Worshipping the famous one: Worship Leaders Retreat: April 13th at 7 pm at First Reformed Church in Baldwin. Cassie Lokker is graduating with her Masters in Ministry Leadership and has completed research on contemporary praise and worship music. Bring your Bible and your voice!

Cassie Lokker presents an evening of original music, stories, testimony, praise, and worship with the audience on April 3rd at 7 pm at First Reformed Church in Baldwin. Everyone is welcome! No cost to attend.

The Art of Bread Baking Retreat--held at Luther Point in Grantsburg on April 1st & 2nd from 6:30 pm on Friday until 3 pm on Saturday. Experience Bible studies and scripture, engage in Christian Fellowship, bake (and eat!) artisan breads. Poster and registration form on bulletin board by Pastor's office.

Please sign up to serve a Lenten Meal. There in only 1 spot left, on Thursday, April 21st. There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board by the library.

Looking for a piano teacher for one student once every other week at Zion. If interested, please call Judy Young at 715-928-0714. Thank you!

Little ways to help: Consider cleaning out your closets and drawers...a few items you could donate now are: unused travel size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, bars of soap, etc. If you have theme items and are not using them, we can put them to use here...we promise, WE WILL SHARE!

Spring cleaning is just around the corner. Please consider saving your items that you no longer use for Zion's rummage sale which will be held on April 1st and 2nd.
