Martin Luther's Seal	Elders: Wes Drost Jerel Frank Tom Reaman Duties: The Board of Elders shall a. concern itself with the spiritual welfare of the members of the congregation individually and corporately. b. counsel and assist the pastor in the performance of his duties. c. be concerned with the welfare of the pastor and his family. d. see to it that all worship services are conducted decently and in order. e. oversee Christian discipline within the congregation and concern itself with attendance at public worship, the use of the Sacraments, and the Christian life of the members. f. assist the pastor in visiting and ministering to the sick, the aged, and the shut-ins. g. render assistance to victims of accident, disaster, unemployment, bereavement, and any other special needs.
