HAZEL'S BANANAS

1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1/2 cup cold water
Peanuts, chopped
Bananas

Melt butter in saucepan and blend in the rest of the ingredients with whisk. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Stir often and boil until it looks clear, about 2 - 3 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Do not refrigerate the sauce. When ready to serve, slice the bananas into a serving dish, pour the sauce over them and sprinkle nuts on top. Serve immediately.
