What does it cost to run a school? If you are a U.S. taxpayer, you know schools are expensive, averaging about $10,000 per student annually. It's not all that different in Guatemala.

A genererous donation is making it possible to add six new computers to our school and nearly complete the school's recent request.

¡Bienvenidos!
Welcome to Redentor del Mundo, a small school among the Maya Cakchiquel in the Guatemala Highlands. The school provides a Christ-based education for elementary (PK-6th grade) and middle school (7th-9th grade) students. Most children come from poor families who make their living as field hands and weavers and almost all are the first in their family to complete elementary school.

Over the years, Redentor has been blessed to be a part of many milestones in the village's history including the first:

xxx• girls to complete the sixth grade (in 450 years!)
xxx• middle school in the village
xxx• local graduates go on to become professionals
