Reverend Hugh L.Mozingo III, Pastor

Pastor Mozingo was born in Charlotte NC, attended school at Staunton Military Academy in Staunton VA. He received his undergraduate degree from Lenoir Rhyne College in Hickory NC and his Master of Divinity degree from the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia SC.

Pastor Mozingo was ordained in the NC Synod and served two parishes: Good Hope Lutheran in Hickory NC and Christ the King Lutheran in Miami FL, before receiving clinical training as a chaplain resident at the SC State Mental Hospital in Columbia SC.

Following his chaplaincy, he worked as a cottage counselor at Barium Springs Home for Children in Barium Springs NC.

Pastor Mozingo returned to Florida where he served sixteen years at St. John Lutheran Church in Summerfield FL. He is married to Janice; they have three children, Zachary, Hannah and Mark.
