103, 203: The Successful Single Life. Defining success in terms of the Bible's call to be a gift to others &serving in whatever role we are given followed by vignettes of singles that are successful. Our culture thinks the way to be successful is to marry the spouse of our dreams. This is not God's plan.
113: Service Projects for Single Adults: Learn more about the service project we chose for this weekend and gain more ideas on service project ideas for single adult groups and individuals.
115, 204: Single Traveler: Tips for traveling solo.
102, 202: Helping the Hurting without Hurting While Helping Relating effectively to those who are suffering is a challenge for anyone. What do you say or do? What should you avoid saying or doing? This workshop provides practical examples and specific suggestions that directly address these questions.
101, 111: Developing Leadership Skills: Leadership skills can be learned. Learn how to recognize the characteristics of a leader in yourself & others, & how to help others develop their leadership skills.
105, 114, 201: Single's Group Training: Specific suggestions & directions on starting a successful singles group in your church or community, resources for single adults, & how to plan events for single adults.
205: ILSA Worship Chorus: Come learn some simple songs to sing at the Sunday morning worship service. All levels of musical ability are welcome.
104, 112: Tips for traveling in Europe: Traveling in Europe can be a wonderful, enlightening and fun experience. For first time or repeat travelers: ideas on when, where, and how; tours or individual travel; what to pack; safety tips; local customs, money, and language
Open Forums: Saturday Afternoon
Widow's Support Groups: How to start & maintain a widow's support group based on my experiences. This usually involves learning a new way to live as a single compared to being part of a couple.
Never Married Open Forum: Together we will share our experiences through an informal discussion about the challenges &lives of the never married.
Divorced Singles Open Forum: A forum for sharing the challenges of the divorced single life.

Rev. Kenneth C. Haugk, Ph.D of Stephen Ministries has agreed to present a workshop at our conference next summer in Branson.

His Bio is:
The Rev. Kenneth C. Haugk, Ph.D., Executive Director of Stephen Ministries St. Louis, is a pastor and clinical psychologist. In 1975, he and his wife, Joan, founded the Stephen Ministries organization and began the Stephen Series system of lay caring ministry, now used by 9,000 congregations from 100 denominations. Dr. Haugk is the author of many books, including the best-selling Christian Caregiving--a Way of Life, Antagonists in the Church, Reopening the Back Door, The Quest for Quality Caring, When and How to Use Mental Health Resources, Discovering God's Vision for Your Life: You and Your Spiritual Gifts resources, Journeying through Grief, and Don't Sing Songs to a Heavy Heart.
