Welcome to the lutheransonline home of the Champaign County (Illinois) Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. We are in existence to serve you, the Thrivent Financial Members located in Champaign County Illinois. Our purpose is to increase interaction between members and volunteerism to meet the needs that our members see in their church, community or region.

Upcoming Events --

Our next meeting is scheduled for March 12th at St John Lutheran Church in Champaign at 6:30pm.

We typically hold meetings on the second Monday of each month at Lutheran churches in the area. The idea is to help the board know more about each church, as well as letting the Congregational Advocates learn more about what the board does.

Feb 4 -- A Dinner/Dance/Auction will be held at the Royal Community Building from 4pm to midnight to raise funds for the Bob Dailey Benefit.

Feb 9 2012 - St Matthew Lutheran Church is holding a dinner for the St Olaf College Choir which will be having a concert at Krannert.

Feb 12, 2012 -- The Royal Ag 4H Club will be holding a Pancake/Sausage benefit to support former 4H member Adam Ferrett at the Royal Community Building.

Funding Process --

We are working on a document to hand out to people who bring projects to us for approval, so they can understand the funding process and what we expect from them. This document can be found here.
