Kathy Synder-Custodian
| Katherine "Kathy" Ray Snyder, of Friedens Church Rd. went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday January 2, 2013 at her home following a year of failing health.
She was born February 1, 1951 in Guilford County to Lucille Surles Ray who survives and the late Thomas Leo Ray. Kathy was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful daughter, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her mother of Gibsonville, daughters; Carla Smith and her husband Jackie of Gibsonville, Kelly McCorquodale and her husband Nick of McLeansville, grandchildren; Katherine McCorquodale, Houston McCorquodale, Jackie Smith III, Kaylee Smith and Kacie Smith, a sister Carolyn Allen and her husband Wayne of Myrtle Beach, a brother Bobby G. Ray of Gibsonville and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister-in-law Clara Ray.
