Prayers of Thanksgiving and Praise
Psalm 100:
A Psalm of praise. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us,
and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with
praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth
endureth to all generations.

Praise and thanks be to God for:
* Thanks be to God and to you for your prayers!

And all those serving in the military, especially in places of
violent conflict, remembering also their families.
The Friedens' youth have left a yellow ribbon in our front yard
which will remain in place until our troops are home.
Let us also pray for all veterans, those who have died in
combat, or have since died, those who carry that experience with
them and and those who continue to serve, especially in
places of violence. They understand better than us the meaning
of sacrificial love.
