(nonprofit)To promote education and encourage interest in all phases of earth science and lapidary arts. Also to promote fellowship and cooperation among members and groups of like interest MEETINGS
Regular meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.; Vernon Parish Library, 1401 Nolan Trace, Leesville, LA 71446
Meetings begin with potluck and conclude with auction of
mineral specimens.
Visitors and students are welcome.

| A world class GEM, JEWELRY, ROCK AND MINERAL SHOW
awaits you at the Exhibit Hall, located at the
Beauregard Parish Fairgrounds, Hwy 171 North,
DeRidder, LA. Quartz crystal clusters, Moroccan
fossils, amethyst geodes and ammonites are featured
from around the world. For the really serious
collector, fine and varied selection of Old and New
World lithic artifacts will be available. Displays
give you an array of jewelry, gems and rocks that would rival
King Solomon's mine.

Gina Giadrosich adjusts the amber necklace that
Anna Arceneaux found irresistible at the 2009 Gem Show
in DeRidder. Gina Giadrosich represented Amber Way
Jewelry that included Baltic Amber with insects
and inclusions. In addition
jewelry was featured which was made of natural
Baltic amber handcrafted by the finest craftsmen in
Poland, Russia and Lithuania.
