Regional Lutheran Relations
Support is provided for events and projects that provide opportunities for Thrivent Financial for Lutherans to interact with participants or engage members and raise awareness of Thrivent Financial. A primary purpose is to fund projects and educational opportunities that support or contribute to the health and vitality of the Lutheran community. The enhancement of existing relationships within the Lutheran community is a mutually benefical goal of the program. Fund-raising activities normally are not considered under this granting program by the Northeast Region. Applications for funding to supplement a fund-raiser should be made to a Care program.
RLR Application Procedures
Please provide as much information as possible to help the Lutheran Community Services Team understand your goals and how the Thrivent Financial grant will be used, if it is approved. An Employer Identification Number is essential.

Click the link for the Regional Lutheran Relations application form below. Save the application to your computer's hard drive. Please review the guidelines before completing the application forms.

The completed RLR application form may be e-mailed to jan.elsasser@thrivent.com.

Regardless of whether the grant is or is not approved, you will be eligible to receive folders (2 pockets), pencils, nametags, and / or 5.5" x 8" notepads for use at an event that brings together Lutherans from two or more congregations, if you need them. Please inform Jan Elsasser via e-mail at least 4 weeks in advance, if you need any of these supplies. The following information will be essential:
