Care and Share--Care in Congregations

Christ Lutheran in Whiting (NJ) had a Strawberry Festival that included a craft bazaar, Grandma's Attic, and a play. They raised $2930, which was supplemented under the Care in Congregations program. The funds raised were used for repairs to the church building. They were fantastic in the area of volunteer hours! 2800 volunteer hours were generated for the supplement of $1300, as they joined together for the Strawberry Festival!
