The main elements of the Chapter Advisor role are:+ Serve as a resource to answer questions from chapter leaders.
+ Report progress of the chapter boards in reaching fraternal goals to the assigned Lutheran Engagement Team (LET) member.
+ Ensure communications with FRs about chapter events and issues.
+ Monitor the chapter leadership board election process.
+ Share best practices with the assigned chapters and with the LET.
+ Serve as a liaison between chapter leadership boards and the LET.
Each chapter advisor volunteer will be working with the Coordinator of Chapter Advisors and the Lutheran Engagement Team Specialist serving this program. This program will expand to include all the chapters. In the interim, those chapters that do not have a Chapter Advisor, will be served by an LET member as in the past.
We believe that this program increases the support given to chapter leaders, allows the LCS Team to focus on increasing member and volunteer awareness, and provides time for the LET to work more closely with the financial team.
