REFLECTION & ACTION- Worship as a way of life;
Worship has often times taken a back seat in many of our lives. Worship is extremely important in the life of a Christian Disciple. Parents, in particular, your responsibility to your children is very important in this area. Your children will be 3 times more likely to attend church if they attended as children. Also, parents your future grandchildren will be 2 times as likely to attend if their parents will attend church with them. Worship is a vital part of life and is something that needs to be a priority in your life if you want it to ever be even on the list for your children. Attending church with your children (both parents) is vital to their spiritual growth and to whether they value their faith in the future. That means going to Sunday school & release time isn’t enough. Fathers in particular you set an example to your children by a lack of presence (men are less likely to attend church). Even when Worship in church isn’t possible, family worship together always is. Sing a song, read a Bible verse, discuss how it relates to your lives, pray, and worship God. Worship isn’t an option it is a command (see commandments 1 & 3). See you all at Worship.
