Volunteers will be packing a rice-soy casserole fortified with 21 essential vitamins and minerals, six dehydrated vegetables and chicken flavoring. This protein and nutrient-rich formula reverses the starvation process. Volunteers should wear comfortable shoes, as most of the tasks involve standing. Aprons will be provided to those who want to keep their clothes clean. Volunteers should be eight years old or older. For more information on Kids Against Hunger visit www.feedingchildren.org. If you have any questions about the events or volunteering, please email Larry Moore at larry.moore@thrivent.com. |
