Hundreds lending hand during ‘Thrivent Builds with Habitat Week’

Thrivent members and other volunteers to construct 10 homes in Milwaukee, WI; One home to be ‘blitz built’ in one week – and you can watch!

Beginning Monday, May 14, Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans are hosting “Thrivent Builds with Habitat Week” in Milwaukee, Wis. The week will include hundreds of volunteers lending a hand to accelerate the construction of 10 Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity homes being built in the Harambee neighborhood in 2007.

One of these homes will be built in one week – and you can watch! Live video will be streaming to www.thriventbuilds.com the week of May 14-19. Be sure to check back throughout the week to see the progress. A daily construction "diary" with interesting anecdotes will also help keep you informed about each day’s work.
