Three Thrivent Chapters Honored Nationally
JOIN HANDS DAY selected 10 out of the many projects held on May 2, 2009, to receive an Award of Excellence–Thrivent chapters were involved in three of these projects. One of those winners was from the Greater Iowa Region.

Dewitt, Iowa – West Clinton County IA Chapter The West Clinton County IA Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, along with Modern Woodmen of America, sponsored May Day in Lincoln Park and worked at a nursing home. Volunteers spread mulch, pulled weeds, raked leaves, prepared flower beds, worked on the walkways and made the park ready for summer use.
