Financial Representative Humanitarian Award -- Chuck Zadow |
 Chuck Zadow |
Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Greater Iowa Region
Financial Representative
Northwest and Southeast Linn County Chapters
Chuck Zadow, a financial associate from the city of Cedar Rapids volunteered from the very beginning of this natural disaster. When two members of the LCR team Bruce Maurer and Terry Click brought supplies to a shelter in this flooded metro city of 250,000, they drove down the streets of the now debris littered streets and were met with the sight of one of our financial associates. Chuck Zadow was in the heart of the city as soon as the waters receded to assist in disaster recovery. Chuck was outfitted with tall waterproof boots and gloves as he helped with the “mucking out” of a house. The mucking out process is only the beginning of flood disaster recovery.
Since that time, Chuck has participated in over 10 of the projects funded by the disaster designated dollars that were placed in the Care in Regions budget.
