As you have seen, from recent publicity, Thrivent Builds Homes is underway. We will build a total of ten homes in Cape Girardeau, Jefferson City, Springfield, Independence, MO, Kansas City, KS (2), St Joe., Lawrence,Wichita,and McPherson.
A large amount of information is available at www.thriventbuilds.com and we'd urge you to visit the site. It includes a locator map for our ten builds with links to the appropriate Habitat affiliate and our RFO web site.
We need additional volunteers in the build areas, including a chapter specialist and congregational champions for the project. Perhaps you'd like to volunteer as a site host and meet volunteers as they sign in for the day. Invite members and friends to join in the builds. Sponsor lunch for a work crew.
