Great Ideas for Chapter Events, Fund-Raisers, and Service Projects

The ideas listed below are also available as a printable document (in PDF).  As additional ideas come in from our chapters and congregations, we will make documentation available. Here are two news lists: member social events and educational ideas.

Featured Project: Barefoot Sunday

The Second Annual Barefoot Sunday was observed in Greensboro, North Carolina. Those attending worship services on June 7 were asked to leave their shoes at the altar. Collected footwear was sent to victims of natural disasters and those living in extreme poverty, though an organization called Soles for Souls. You can learn more by visiting their website, www.giveshoes.org - Changing the World, One Pair at a Time!

Guilford County chapter members collected 5515 pairs of shoes through the Soles4Soles program!
