Welcome to "Fraternalized"...our Northern Rocky Region [525] web communication portal keeping you connected.

Check out what we're up to!

[links to additional resources at bottom]

Our outstanding region stretches across eastern Washington, eastern Oregon, Idaho and Montana!

We've got nearly 50,000 of Thrivent's 2.6 million members and hope to see that number continue to grow as more and more people hear about the great things we do - both financially, through protecting members from risk & preparing them for retirement, and fraternally through member-directed outreach using tax-exempt funds for social, educational, hands-on, and fund-raising activities.

[L to R] Jason Clark - Executive Director, Second Harvest Spokane; Vicki Escarra - Executive Director, Feeding America; Chris Houglum - Lutheran Engagement Team Member, Scott Schuldt - Managing Partner, Northern Rocky Region; Mike Feiler - Former Manager of Lutheran Engagement [Retired]
Thrivent Presents $206,335 Check to Feeding America!
On March 22, 2011, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Northern Rocky Region had the honor and privilege to present a $206,335 check to Winter Voting Event recipient Feeding America to help fight hunger all over our country! Feeding America was presented with a special lunchbox containing a Washington Grown Apple, an Idaho Grown Potato, an Idaho Spud Bar, and underneath it all a nice little check for $206,335!!!!

In addition, Feeding America was presented with a Thrivent Piggy Bank with 3 slots for Saving, Sharing, & Spending. Feeding America was encouraged to use this model we teach to kids in being responsible stewards of financial resources through the Parents, Kids & Money Matters workshop.

Feeding America was extremely grateful for all the votes from members in our Northern Rocky Region and the contribution from Thrivent...so moved in fact that they decided to give $60,000 of their total to Second Harvest in Spokane to keep up the great work in fighting hunger in our region!

Monthly Volunteer Leader Teleconference Updates
Next Call: Tuesday, May 24, 2011. 7PM Pacific, 8PM Mountain.

On the 4th Tuesday of each month throughout 2011 we will host a Monthly Volunteer Leader Update for any Volunteer Leaders [board members and congregational advocates] who are available. These teleconferences will be recorded and notes will be available following the call. We hope for each chapter to have at least 2 people on these calls so as to relay information to the rest of the board. A good idea is to designate leaders to call in on a rotating basis. The more the merrier! We'd love to have all of you on the call.

4th Tuesday of each month. 7PM Pacific, 8PM Mountain.
