Grant County WI Chapter - Thrivent Builds

Grant County was chosen as a 2008 Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity grant recipient. We started building a home in Benton starting in April 2008. Joel & Rachael Groom and little 5 month old Benjamin have been selected as the Partner Family for the current HFHGC Thrivent build taking place in Benton.

More about the Alliance:
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and Habitat for Humanity have joined together to build affordable homes for families in need. Thrivent Financial intends to invest $105 million over a four-year period into this unique alliance called "Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity." In 2006, 313 homes were constructed as a result of the alliance. Seven of those homes were built in the Southwest Wisconsin District.
