East Dane County Chapter

Welcome to the East Dane County Chapter!
It's great to have you here!

The East Dane County Chapter normally meets the 4th Tuesday of the month, except during the month of July. Be sure to check the calendar for the location and time of each meeting, as the location and time does change on occasion. The public is welcome to our meetings; the public portion of each meeting typically begins at 7:30 p.m.

We want you to know that Thrivent Financial has requested that our Board make some important changes to the way we operate, as compared to years past.

We want you to be able to provide us with the strongest possible CAIC funding request. For 2012, our funding efforts will focus primarily on CAIC activities that are intended to help individuals in need (as a result of illness, accident, etc) and activities that provide non-perishable food and/or meals for those in need that live in East Dane county. If you have questions about CAIC funding or the requesting process, please feel free to contact our Chapter President, Jay Fruehling at 608-244-7469.

Thrivent Choice

The Thrivent ChoiceSM program offers two ways members can help choose where to direct some of Thrivent Financial's charitable outreach funds. Some members can participate in both, based on eligibility. See program details.

CAIC MATCHING FUNDS REQUESTS
On April 1st, 2012, our chapter received its Care Abounds in Community (CAIC) matching funds! As a result we can now accept your funding requests. Please remember, your request is more likely to be approved by our Board if it: 1) helps those who live in East Dane County - particularly individuals in need because of health concerns or accident, or 2) has a focus on providing food/meals (examples include non-profits that provide free community meals, supporting food pantries, or other organizations that help feed the poor/hungry in East Dane County).

IMPORTANT NOTE: We will need to receive your CAIC request at least 5 calendar days prior to our monthly chapter meeting in order to consider it at that month's meeting. Thanks!
