1. Activities funded should make a significant impact on the identified recipient(s). 2. Service teams requesting assistance must be Thrivent members and are to be formed prior to requesting Thrivent support. 3. Service teams are to provide evidence of publicity containing visible support from Thrivent Financial and the Chippewa Valley Chapter before supplemental funding is approved. Visibility of Thrivent, the Chapter, and Financial Associates is also important when the supplemental funding is distributed. 4. Supplemental funding will be $1.00 on each $3.00 profit of funds raised. (Exceptions will be considered.) 5. Individual group/troop activities that benifit only that group, such as a Boy Scout Troop, and individual volunteer efforts such as the Crop Walk, will not be funded. Community organizations such as hidtorical society, museums and senior centers will be considered. Annual requests by the same organization will not be funded every year. 6. Activities intiated by other organizations and not a Thrivent service team, that contact Thrivent for a donation or assistance, will not be funded. |
