We are finally getting this webpage updated. We hope we can keep it that way. As you may know Thrivent Financial for Lutherans has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to help build homes for those who would not usually be able to buy a house. These people work many hours on this home and with our help and Habitat's help, when finished they will own their own home. We have helped to build 2 homes since 2007. Another Habitat for Humanity House is being built in Bluffton. Each Saturday workers are needed to shovel, hammer hold and fetch. Most of us can do that. Work begin about 8:00 a.m. every Saturday till completed. The home is on W. Cherry St. You may Contact Otto Clausen at 824-9301 about this project.
Our local Thrivent Representative, Agnes Schoch will hold an "Economic Update Night" on September 10th 2009 at New Hope Lutheran Church in Ossian. It will begin at 7:00 p.m. Agnes will have a lot of information and answer questions as well.

The Wells County Chapter Fall Election & Luncheon is set for October 18th at Bicounty Service Building, 425 Harrison Rd., Bluffton. The fun begins with a FREE Luncheon at 11:00 a.m., then an Election of the 2010 Boards members. Following will be a brief meeting and Door prizes to be given away.Mark your calendar for a Free Lunch, fun and fellowship.
