A Thrivent Picnic in San Diego! |
|
|
Our 2007 annual San Diego County Chapter picnic was wonderful. Over 130 members and their families and friends were in attendance. A complementary meal was served. Traditional picnic games such as gunny sack racing, three-legged race and an egg-on-a spoon race were enjoyed. The rest of the afternoon was spent relaxing in the shade, visiting with old friends, making new acquaintances and enjoying the sunshine.
The meal was catered by Hunter's Steak House and really made for a relaxing afternoon.
Our Eighth Annual Picnic is going to be a another real treat! So you can get ready to enjoy another great day with your Thrivent friends. The annual elections will also take place at the picnic.
