Care Abounds in Communities™

To request matching funds for those in need from the Warren Co. OH Chapter for the Care Abounds in Communties® program please download and complete the microsoft word document request form in the link to the right at least two (2) weeks prior to your event and e-mail to Will Lapp, Financial Director at wandklapp@aol.com.

At its March 17, 2007 meeting the Chapter Leadership Board adopted the following guidance for distributing matching funds.

Checks can not be written to Churches, nor can funding be requested for Church out reach programs.

The chapter expects the funds raised and the Chapter's match to remain in Warren County to benefit those people in need.

Should a service team have a history of requesting supplemental funds based upon inflated estimated funds raised the Leadership Board retains the right to reduce its approved match to that based upon historic funds raised.

The minimum match will be $100.

We limit our maximum match for each project as described below. The matched is generally less based upon the number of project requests received and the funds available:

a. Maximum match is $1,600.00.

b. The first $500.00 will be matched as a maximum dollar per dollar raised.

c. The second $500.00 will have a maximum match of $0.75 per dollar raised.

d. The third $600.00 will be matched at a maximum of $0.50 per dollar raised.

e. Our goal is to match $0.50 or less per dollar raised.

The Chapter Leadership Board may modify this guidance at any time to maximize the number of projects assisted and the funds available from Thrivent Financial.

Report for Funding Activity Results
Care Abounds in Communities ™

This form is used to report the service team's fund raising results and to obtain the Thrivent Financial match.

Note that a check for the net amount raised must be sent payable to "Warren Co. OH Chapter Thrivent Financial".

Be sure to submit all receipts and the Receipts, Funds Raised and Expenses Report to the chapter leader contact noted on the form.

Your leaderboard would appreciate receiving the results form within 30 days of the activity date. Also should your net receipts be less than the amount requested and approved please let us know ASAP so that we can allocate the remaining monies to other projects.

Please note that checks can not be written to Churches.

We limit our match for each project based upon the guidance outlined above under Request for Supplemental Funds.
